HooToons: User Personas
Hoo Toons User Personas
These user personas were created with the website Hoo Toons in mind. Given that Hoo Toons is a video sharing website for cartoons, why shouldn't we have had some fun with the design? The user persona is yet another chance for us to understand and reevaluate our general design, so it makes sense that we would design it in keeping with the rest of Hoo Toons. We have the blue, some of the same blocking, and of course, the varying orange hues and shades.
These user personas also helped us in pinning down what sort of audience we wanted to attract with Hoo Toons. Of course, any development team should have an idea of who their audience is, but at the same time, that often gets lost because you want to get to the more fun parts in the development cycle. These user personas forced us to confront who was going to be using our website the most and how they would use it, critical details that I'm embarrassed to say aren't always considered.
