Johnny Appleseed J's
These designs were made in honor of the Johnny Appleseed Festival in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The designs are meant to evoke feelings from the Johnny Appleseed folktale: whimsy and rustic nostalgia. The first is long and traditional, with just the little cartoon apple as a reminder of the whimsy. It is a reminder of the festival's tradition and historical presence. The second design is much more childlike and fun! It appeals not only to the festival's younger attendees, but also to the games and treats we all enjoy. The designs might be very different, stylistically,but they carry with them the themes of the Johnny Appleseed Festival.
